The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located in National Air and Space Museum (NASM), Business Operations and Technology Division. The Business Operations and Technology Division is responsible for providing all Business Operations, including the financial, administrative, human resources, acquisitions and internal control services required to operate and maintain NASM.
Duties
The Human Resources Liaison develops, implements and/or manages personnel functions for the National Air and Space Museum.
Requirements

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related

In addition to the basic qualification requirement above:
GS-11 Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as:
Provides assistance to employees and management on staffing and recruitment services
Reviews Position Descriptions
Prepares and initiates requests for personnel actions
Administers guidance on human resources functional area
