Duties
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Perform post-trial processing of courts-martial cases.
Monitor completion of the record of trial by the court reporter to ensure the timely submission of the records.
Supervise post-trial actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
- You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advise paralegal specialists on highly specialized problems in case development such as jurisdictional issues and routing of legal actions; analyze research on complex issues; and recommend minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and adverse counseling.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
