You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER for the MQ-4C Triton Sustainment team in the PERSISTENT MARITIME UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (PMA-262), reporting directly to the PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICER for UNMANNED AVIATION and STRIKE WEAPONS (PEO(U&W) of PEO CM and UAV JNT.
Duties
You will analyze needs and integrate requirement information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning.
You will serve as a key participant in the development of an acquisition strategy that serves as the framework for the integrating functional activities essential to the acquisition effort.
You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program.
You will provide management direction to all IPT members and to other personnel directly assigned or detailed to support the assigned program.
You will serve as the central contact point within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or (NH-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: 1) Leading an Integrated Program Team (IPT) in providing program management and risk management support for aircraft systems and/or subsystems; 2) Planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development and financial control for the program in terms of risk, performance, schedule and cost; 3) Applying technical and business systems, processes, and practices to manage weapons system acquisition such as principles governing life cycle acquisition management within the Department of Defense (DoD), the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution system (PPBE), and Navy acquisition management process; 4) Planning for and synthesizing requirements of competency areas such as engineering, logistics, budget, configuration management, and other functional specialties into integrated strategies to support the acquisition program; and 5) Acting as a liaison to operating Joint Forces to ensure that program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
