You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN LEADER in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will lead, plan and lay out work alongside employees in the accomplishment of electrical maintenance operations and related activities.
You will determine and place distribution panels, boxes, fittings, and connections and installs wiring, couplings, conduit relays, fixtures, transformers and other electrical devices including electrical service entrances.
You will works from building plans, blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and manuals to plan and lay out the routing, placement type, size, gauge, balance, load, continuity of electrical lines, circuits, systems, equipment and controls.
You will plan and lay out the work, tracing hard-to-locate defects or problems and completes repairs and installations.
You will install, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE including1) Installing and maintaining overhead and underground distribution systems and electrical sub stations; 2) Troubleshooting and replacing circuit boards in the controls of equipment; 3) Utilizing prints, schematics and equipment manuals to test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment.
