This position is located in the New York Office (NYO) of the Antitrust Division (Division), and the incumbent will report to the NYO Section Chief and Assistant Chiefs. The incumbent is responsible for supervising administrative staff and performing administrative and legal support functions.

Qualifications

If you are a current Antitrust employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, to qualify for the position of Legal Administrative Officer, (GS-0301-13), your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience is experience that has provided you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position as described above, and that is typically in or related to the position being filled. Specialized experience must include at least 3 out of 4 of the following: Leading teams; Providing legal advice, guidance, and policy support in a legal office; Overseeing and evaluating evidence in trial records, and preparing summary material to be used by attorneys; Overseeing, enforcing, and implementing procedures pertaining to the safeguarding, handling, and storage of legal records in a legal office.
