Duties
You will serve as Program Assistant in the Government Purchase Card/Travel Card Branch, Logistics Division, Facilities, Maintenance and Logistics Management Department at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific (NCTAMS PAC).
You will serve as the primary Cardholder of the Government Purchase Card Program and perform purchasing functions for NCTAMS PAC.
You will maintain required records and files in support of financial expenditures on the Government Purchase Card.
You will coordinate with requestors and vendors to ensure proper receipt of invoice for payment on all orders.
You will resolve discrepancies and problems with purchases daily.

You will analyze work related to developing and executing audit policies and programs for the government travel card.
You will gather and organize information for inquiries and resolve problems.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
-Experience creating and maintaining a purchase log for each line of accounting and tracking monthly expenditures.
-Experience maintaining weekly reports on status of funds.
-Experience utilizing market research techniques such as researching the internet for sources of supply or similar methods.
-Experience conducting investigations, researching and determining causes of discrepancies in credit card charges.
This position is within the Work Category TECHNICAL & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE Series and Grade GG-0344-07.
