Program Support Assistant (OA) Provides direct administrative support to ensure effective and efficient work processes through sound management and practices in workforce to include personnel, budget and fiscal, maintaining program vehicle, reduce resource utilization, quality management and program administration. Ensure policy, procedure and standards are applied consistent, according to Federal, VHA, VISN, Miami VA Healthcare System accrediting agency standards.
Duties
Include but not limited to:
Performs a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
Coordinates meetings, and schedules conferences.
Reviews correspondence for accuracy and completeness.
Provides general clerical mail correspondence services.
Establishing and maintaining inventory of telehealth equipment.
Monitoring the use of services, supplies, and equipment.
Provides general office supply and equipment support services.
Follows up on all action items.
Serves as the primary service timekeeper and ADPAC.
Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/23/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05.
The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
Preferred Experience: VHA Timekeeping experience; Working with all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.); Data collection, summarizing, and reporting; Administrative/clerical duties including minutes keeping and scheduling; Equipment use auditing.
Minimum Qualification Requirement: You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Maintains calendars and recording appointments, arranges meetings and small conference administrative details, edits and composes letters and reports, reviews correspondence for accuracy and completeness. Coordinates meetings, and schedules conferences. Process incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, ROI, reports, memoranda, CPRS/VISTA, purchase orders. Obtains and monitors the use of services, vehicles, supplies, or equipment for the office. Initiates and follows through with work orders for keys, repairs, and equipment requests. Order supplies and equipment. Serves as the primary service timekeeper and ADPAC.

Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.
Physical Requirements: The work involves a great deal of walking, standing, bending, and moving in order to install Telehealth equipment in the patient's homes. The work involves carrying of light items (up to 20 pounds) and equipment, such as papers, books, small part, laptops, etc. Community visits will require the ability to drive a vehicle.
