You will serve as a Program Manager in the Program Management Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will manage and support a team to achieve program technical, cost, and schedule objectives.
You will develop and coordinate all required program acquisition documentation and briefings.
You will ensure all program requirements and milestones are communicated and coordinated with program leadership.
You will develop and promulgate detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders.
You will analyze needs and requirements information necessary for the development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning.
You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (DA-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Managing and supporting a team to achieve program technical, cost, and schedule objectives while ensuring all program requirements and milestones are communicated with program leadership; (2) Developing and coordinating all required program acquisition documentation and briefings while leading discussions on program changes; (3) Promulgating detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders and analyzing needs and requirements for the development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives; (4) Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical cost, schedule, and performance objectives while assuring all planning is fully integrated with the overall program team effort; and (5) Applying the tools and techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement in addressing program management problems and issues while serving as a central point of contact within the program office for all matters.
