About the Position: Position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, Army Field Support Brigade - CONUS West, LSE, Fort Riley KS
Duties
Creates and validates the budget requirements for the Food Service Program.
Responsible for the oversight of the installation Food Service Program (FSP) to include Subsistence Supply Management Office (SSMO) and food service contracts.
Responsible for administration, monitoring, coordinating use of appropriated funded food services Dining Facilities (DFAC).
Reviews and evaluates, Food Service Program doctrine, plans, policy, procedures, operations, support systems, and mission assignments to establishes to schedules and mission priorities.
Supervises the Food Program Office Staff.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation is required.
- May travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain any food service safety certifications required by TB MED 530-Tri Serviced Food Code and Army Regulation 30-22 Army Food Program.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
