This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Operational Risk, IT Supervision Branch, IT Policy Section and develops and communicates Division, Corporation, and interagency policies and guidance which relate to the supervision of operations and technology related activities of insured institutions and their respective service providers.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-13: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 12 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as supporting the assessment of financial institutions’ risk management of operations, information security, and implementation of new technology. Examples of operations and technology include third-party relationship risk management, cybersecurity risk management, payment operations, and fintech relationships.
CG-14: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 13 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as making recommendations and serving as a recognized authority on supervision programs used to assess financial institutions’ risk management of operations, information security, and implementation of new technology. Examples of operations and technology include third-party relationship risk management, cybersecurity risk management, payment operations, and fintech relationships.
