You will serve as a SUPERVISORY REGIONAL DISPATCH CENTER SPECIALIST in the N3 OPERATIONS of HDQTRS NDW.
Duties
You will use a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) program to determine information pertaining to specific locations or hazards associated with an incident.
You will analyze images displayed on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to identify threats and suspicious activity.
You will coordinate notifications with other agencies to determine suitable jurisdiction and level of service to be rendered.
You will brief on-coming dispatchers of new or old information prevalent to the shift.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Responding to emergency 9-1-1 service calls, reporting unusual and non-routine fire, police, medical and hazardous incidents; 2) Ensuring dispatchers obtain critical information about the situation, record information, determine the type and priority of responses, dispatch appropriate resources, and relay information to first responders; 3) Ensuring that precise and accurate information is provided to first responders on all calls for service; 4) Providing callers with accurate information and medically appropriate instructions before the arrival of Emergency Medical Services (EMS); and 5) Monitoring/operating a Computer Aided Dispatch system (CAD), a multi-line telephone system, a multi-channel radio system, a multi-channel logging recorder, computerized security alarms, fire alarm systems, and Closed Circuit TV.(NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume.)
