About the Position: Serves as the advisor to the DPTMS on both technical and administrative matters relating to the accomplishment, coordination and disposition of a variety of substantive staff actions and assignments.
Duties
Manage garrison projects and completed to ensure all resources are utilized properly and there is no duplication.
Provide information, clarify issues, research and coordinate actions for USAG POM to carry out the administrative management operations.
Initiate and ensures effective communication, coordination and follow-up actions with subordinate elements, higher headquarters, and other services.
Prepare findings and makes recommendations based upon analysis.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- In accordance with AR 690-11, this position has been designated as "Emergency-Essential". Emergency-Essential designation takes precedence over any transportation agreement or military recall status.
- This is a Term position scheduled to last 2 years. A term position may be extended to a maximum of six years depending upon the needs of management.
- Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.
- This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience developing and implementing program process for plans and operations within an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
