This SUPERVISORY NAVIGATOR (INSTRUCTOR) position, is located in the Navigation Branch of an ANG flying squadron and is part of the CA 129 RQW.
Duties
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION
The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY NAVIGATOR (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2183-13, is to serve as chief of the function and as such, is responsible for all navigational support provided by the squadron.
Qualifications
General Experience: Must have experience which provided a working knowledge of the navigation systems and navigational instruments of the assigned airframe.
SUPERVISORY NAVIGATOR (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2183-13: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-12 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Knowledge of the various methods of air navigation, and skill in using navigational instruments, equipment, and systems in conjunction with flight instruments to direct the movement and positioning of the aircraft to accomplish a specific mission or assignment; Knowledge of the use and deployment of fighter aircraft ordnance; skill to conduct preflight checks, recognize malfunctions, and coordinate delivery with the pilot; Knowledge of weapon ballistics and skill to operate related avionics systems for fighter aircraft; and responsible for providing ground and flight instruction in air navigation.

Education
Must have you successfully graduated from USAF or USN Undergraduate Flying Training (UFT). MUST UPLOAD proof of Certification, Failure to provide proof of certification will result in automatic disqualification.
