This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Facility Manager, Building and Grounds Supreme Court Assistant Superintendent, Thurgood Marshall Facility Operations Division. The selectee will be responsible for examining offices, foyers, safety apparatuses and other public spaces to detect and rectify maintenance issues for Members, Committees, and their staffs.

Tour of Duty: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) Hours may change due to Operational Needs of Management

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-09 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower (GS-08) grade level in the Federal service.Specialized experience for this position must demonstrate all of the following
Providing building operations support.
Coordinating repair schedules with contractors, engineers, and other building maintenance team.
Conducting building inspections for cleanliness and maintenance.
Preparing and maintaining inspection and repair records and data using automated software or systems.
