Duties
This position is located in the Uniformed Services Bureau, Library Division,
United States Capitol Police.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.For the CP-6 level you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized
experience equivalent to at least the CP-5/GS-7 level which is in or
directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has
equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to
successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is
defined as experience which includes: 1) Experience in administrative office
support functions, practices and methodology, and ability to apply those skills
to increase effectiveness of the office; 2) Ability to efficiently organize
work, analyze and solve problems, and provide sound solutions consistent with
established policies; and 3) Expertise in the use of office automation systems
and products, such as Microsoft Office Suite and specialized systems such as
