This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Debt Management Contact Services Division - Unified Call Center, Collection Center East. As a Program Manager, you will manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of incoming and outgoing call center operations.
Duties
As a Program Manager, you will:
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Collaborate with superiors and other members of the organization in regular and special staff meetings for the purpose of devising new internal procedures, regulating workflow, and formulating plans for new or extended programs.
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Internal Control Reviews of the Branch.
- Represent the Director and or attend meetings with DMS, FS, Treasury, and other Federal Government agencies for the purpose of planning work efforts and resolving issues or concerns.
- Plan, organize, evaluate, and direct activities of subordinate personnel assigned to the staff.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Plans for and directs the analysis of the workload, such as alters plans as necessary to accommodate changes in programs and priorities; AND
- Exercises responsibilities in dealing with officials of other organizations, or in advising management officials of higher rank; AND
- Performs outreach and engages senior level officials at customer agencies to promote the benefits of utilizing systems; AND
- Engages existing and pilot agencies to solicit feedback on system or program performance.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
