About the Position:
The incumbent will serve as Supply Management Specialist in the 2/2d FA Bn, 428th FA Brigade Fort Sill, OK. With responsibility to manage, plan, organize, coordinate and advise on logistics section activities.
Duties
Provide guidance on property book operations.
Reviews property book accountable documents for accuracy.
Assist in property accountability by ensuring it is properly documented, safeguarded, and disposed of.
Provide logistics and supply management assistance for supply clerks and other battalion personnel.
Briefs commanders, supply personnel, and Liability officers on the procedures and responsibilities to complete inventories and Liability Investigations and ensures inventories and investigations are in compliance with required regulations.
Control the distribution of unit equipment.
Provide interpretation of supply and logistic regulation to staff.
Responsible for the Environmental Compliance and Command Supply Discipline Programs (CSDP) and advising all FCOE representatives.
Oversight for enlisted supply specialists (92Y10) and supply NCOs (92Y30), Responsible for approval of all requisition and disposal actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required up to 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Education

Master's or equivalent graduate degree directly related to the position being filled (Must provide transcripts)
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related. (Must provide transcripts)
