About the Position: This position serves as Supply Specialist for the Joint C-sUAS Universiry. Fort Sill, OK.

Duties

Assure correct supply determinations including deviations of demand are fulfilled based on organizations needs. Develop budget forecasts based on past program experience and reprograms funds if necessary. Perform supervisory duties by planning and directing supply, logistics, budget, and new equipment functions. Review justification for the authorization and acquisition of a variety of equipment. Monitor and report on equipment and training of all units fielding with new systems. Establish internal controls such as conducting reviews, inspections, studies and analysis. Advise headquarters and battalion commanders on status of program posture.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) appr. up to 25% of the time away from home station.
  • Recruitment/Relocation/Retention Incentive may be authorized.
  • Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Expenses may be authorized.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Apply concepts to support supply program operations; 2) Provide supply information and reports using automated systems and programs such as Global Combat Support System Army, Microsoft Word, Excel etc.; 3) Resolve issues using existing policies and work procedures; 4) Review documents for accuracy of funding and authorization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral CommunicationPlanning and EvaluatingReasoningTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
