This position is located in the Management Information & Directives Division of the Office of Management and Information Services. You will primarily serve as a Management Information Specialist supporting the Agency’s the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program. You will also serve as the Directives control point for concurrence on all proposed directives materials for the Agency.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include: Experience processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from start to finish and redacting records. Experience responding to inquiries and requests for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act information. Experience working with an agency's Directives program and managing publication of internal policy. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Computer Skills - Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality. Quality Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools of quality assurance, quality control, and reliability used to ensure that a project, system, or product fulfills requirements and standards. Technical Competence - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues.
