This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Regional Offices of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for planning and carrying out a wide variety of administrative, management, and program planning activities, and performing the broadest and most significant types of review and management analysis.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify at the grade CG-09, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade CG/GS-07 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing administrative support, assisting with administrative operations, and preparing written documents and spreadsheets using word processing software.
OR To qualify based on education, applicants must have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree (such as an LL.B. or J.D., if related) or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LLB. or J.D., if related.
OR Applicants may qualify based on a combination of education and experience.
To qualify at the grade CG-11, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-09 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience interpreting and applying federal laws and regulations; utilizing analytical and evaluative methods to perform duties; using a variety of software (e.g., Microsoft Office) to create reports and presentations; preparing written communication; and interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
OR To qualify based on education, applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR Applicants may qualify based on a combination of education and experience.
To qualify at the grade CG-12, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience planning and carrying out projects to improve the efficiency and productivity of administrative operations, advising management on new methods, procedures and techniques to resolve a variety of administration problems, and preparing reports and written communication for use by management.
