About the position: This position is located at the Child Development Center at Travis Air Force Base, CA Intermittent (Flexible) employees have no guaranteed hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. Eligible to use base facilities such as: Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center. Physical Effort: Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

• This position requires satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain current record of immunization.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
