Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as advising on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practices and services; and conducting trainings on any one of the following topics: collaboration, negotiation, or facilitation.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and conflict prevention techniques and practices.
Ability to advise on conflict prevention and resolution principles, practices, and strategies.
Ability to facilitate and mediate cases, sufficient to prevent and resolve conflict.
Skill in program management.
Skill in task order management.
Ability to design and conduct ADR-related trainings.
Skill in program evaluation and reporting.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
