Duties

Serves as subject matter expert, advising installation and senior leadership on Command Supply Discipline Program, Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), and organizational supply management. Supervises the Supply and Services Division through subordinate supervisors, team leaders, contract site leads, or comparable personnel. Serves as policy advisor and subject matter expert on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the supply program Provides supply and service support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel assigned, stationed or within the Area of Support (AOS) of the installation Monitors Command Discipline Supply Program (CDSP) Ensures Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) DD Forms 200 for lost, damaged, or destroyed property are prepared IAW AR-735-5.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and Maintain a Tier 1 (NACI) investigation.
  • This position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • This position may require the incumbent to travel (TDY) up to10% of the time.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. One year of specialized experience which includes : 1) Planning logistical support plans for supply services such as Ammunition Supply Point (ASP), Subsistence Supply Management Office (SSMO), Property Book Accountability (PBO), Supply Storage Activity (SSA). 2) Reviewing budget execution and manpower utilization, and 3) Analyzing logistic activities to make recommendations for improvement or changes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision MakingOrganizational AwarenessPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
