Duties

Ability to identify trends of alcohol and drug usage for analysis and statistical data. Develop training course material for drug testing ensuring adherence to established regulations and policies. Coordinate urinalysis testing for individuals enrolled in test designated positions. Administer and collect urine samples ensuring compliance with established regulations and policies. Establish and maintain all records and files ensuring compliance with established regulations and policies. Prepare and update charts of statistics for monthly, quarterly and annual reports utilizing an automated system. Ensure forensic urinalysis testing for sensitive positions meet mandatory requirements. Analyze statistical data of the urinalysis program.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A National Agency Check w/ Inquiries (NACI) background investigation is required.
  • Obtain and maintain a DA DTC Certification within 9 months of assuming duties.
  • TDY may be required 5% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
