About the Position: This position is located at the Tooele Army Depot, Ammunition Operations Directorate, serving as a Blocker and Bracer (MVO) Supervisor, performing duties as the technical and administrative supervisor over mobile equipment and motor vehicle operators performing transportation and handling services.
Duties
Perform transportation and handling services of ammunition, explosives, and hazardous materials between road/rail storage and production areas.
Analyze work schedules and determines availability of manpower and equipment to meet deadlines.
Coordinate work with functions controlled by other supervisors.
Supervise and coordinate all scheduled and required motor vehicle and mobile equipment support to include transportation of explosives, hazardous materials, ammunition, and related components.
Ensure personnel are trained, qualified, and certified in assigned operations.
Keep supervisor advised regarding rail movement operations that negatively impact support.
Attend meetings and conferences representing the Activity management and on visits to other installations when required.
Organize, coordinate, and direct the work activities of the teams.
Receive work schedules and explains work requirements to meet deadlines.
Approve/disapprove, plan, and establishes overall leave schedule for the team. Develops performance standards and counsel employees on performance.

Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- Subject to AR 190-11 requirements, Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA and E).
- Position subject to random drug testing.
- Must meet the requirements of AMCR 350-4, Training and Certification Program for Personnel Working in Ammunition Operations.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Blocker and Bracer (Motor Vehicle Operator) Supervisor without more than normal supervision. ????Experience providing instruction to others involved in the operation of tractor-trailers to ship and receive ammunition and/or explosives and warehousing and storage of these components. And/or experience blocking and bracing equipment on truck trailers using blocks, braces, or other staying devices. Operating truck-tractors with semi-trailers and Strad-O-Lift trailers to haul explosives, munitions, and components. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
