This position is located in the Northwest District Office in Craig Colorado.
Duties
Serve as an Administrative Support Assistant in any Field, District, or State/Center organization within the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
Perform a wide variety of administrative support functions and specialized duties each requiring a comprehensive working knowledge of special and/or complex subject matter, procedures, or practices.
Serve as a principle point of contact on specific technical aspects or programs related to office administration, resolving non-recurring problems and issues.
Provide advice and recommendations to management on improving administrative operations.
Requirements

- Meet Selective Service Registration Act requirement for males

- You cannot hold an active real estate license, nor can you have an interest or hold stocks in firms with interest in Federal Lands.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying:
Specialized Experience GS-07: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing at the following: (1) serving as clerical point of contact on human resource matters; (2) purchasing supplies/equipment using simplified acquisition procedures; (3) preparing travel documents (authorizations and vouchers) in an automated travel system; (4) entering and/or validating time and attendance records in an automated payroll system.
