You will serve as a OFFICE AUTOMATION ASSISTANT in the MARINE AND FAMILY PROGRAMS of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.

Duties
You will perform dual roles by providing support in the field of office automation technology, and non routine administrative tasks in support of the family services center.
You will support the transition assistance management program (TAMP) and the transition from military life.
You will provide orientation in use of the center to new clients either individually or in groups.
You will make suggestions regarding additions to the library based on interviews with clients.
You will plan and develop systematic methods for naming, identifying, and retrieving information to enhance locating and retrieving electronically stored information.
You will assist in the development of new and modified programs objectives and policies.
You will operate and provide non routine assistance to clients in operation of computerized services in the career resource center, such as the Defense Outplacement Referral System (DORS) and the Transition Bulletin Board (TBB).
You will provide limited program services and advise on computer applications, requirements and limitations.
You will assist in facilitating seminars and conferences.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge and experience on the Transition Assistance Management Program for transitioning military to civilian life. Ability to communicate at briefings, professional conferences, training and education workshops. Knowledge and experience on military lifestyle and military family support programs and skill with naval correspondence.
