About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Amry MSCOE, U.S. Army Engineer School, Counter Explosive Hazards Center, Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Oversees the work of the supply function, manages the Counter Explosive Hazards Center (CEHC) warehouse, and executes shipping and receiving of property.
Monitors and ensures that supply and property procedures/processes are in compliance with all appropriate regulations.
Utilize General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to build Purchase Request to procure supplies and equipment.
Applies practical knowledge and provides guidance in support to maintenance requirements for a variety of equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be capable of being licensed on GSA vehicles up to and including 1-ton duty vehicles dispatched from the Transportation Motor Pool.
- Must attend and complete Government Purchase Card (GPC) and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) training to be able to purchase equipment, supplies and services using these methods.
- Incumbent may be required to perform temporary duty (TDY) travel approximately 5% of the time in connection with the assigned duties.
- Drivers must have completed an approved Accident Avoidance Course (AAC) in order to drive non-tactical vehicles dispatched from TMP.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) utilizing standardized supply regulations and policies; 2) maintaining inventory records using GCSS Army or similar system and identifying discrepancies between supply records and inventory counts; AND 3) purchasing supplies using GFEBS or similar system.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
