You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), MARMC Commander (Code 100) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.

Duties

You will organize, plan, and coordinate various emergency response programs with federal, state, and local entitles. You will plan and coordinate all emergency matters pertaining to the protection and security of personnel, property and material working for and assigned to MARMC You will develop programs for providing necessary emergency guidance as well as required training to MARMC personnel. You will plan, develop, and administer vital protection projects and programs, vital to the continuation of the mission of the organization during emergency operations.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience creating methods to sustain the operational effectiveness of the All-Hazards Emergency Management Planning Division; Experience organizing, planning, and coordinating various emergency response programs with federal, state, and local entitles; Experience planning, coordinating all emergency matters pertaining to the protection and security of personnel, property and material working for and assigned to MARMC; Experience conducting surveys and/or studies deemed appropriate to develop required plans and adapting guidance to local situations; Experience providing advice and counseling to subordinates on both technical and administrative matters and resolves problems.
