The Human Resources Specialist (Workforce Planning) performs complex administrative and professional work in the development and execution of workforce planning that support the human resources strategic plan and accomplishment of aligned projects, goals and operational objectives.  

Duties

The  Human Resources Workforce Planning Specialist's duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Background and security investigation are required.
  • A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.

Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in human resources and three (3) years of specialized experience in workforce and/or succession planning.  Desirable Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of and skill in analytical and diagnostic techniques and qualitative and quantitative techniques sufficient to identify, evaluate, and recommend to management appropriate HR interventions to resolve interrelated Human Resources and workforce planning problems and issues. Extensive knowledge of and experience in quantitative and qualitative methodologies and the demonstrated skill and ability to conduct a detailed analysis of the workforce.  Demonstrated skill in written and oral presentations, developing and adapting materials for specific and diverse audiences with varying skill and comprehension levels. Documentation of education must be submitted with your application or your application will not be considered. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency. Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts are required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.  

Education
