Duties

Serves as the Division Chief, Audit Remediation and Sustainment responsible for coordinating with the HQ Audit Task Force, the independent public auditor, process owners and sub-process owners. Executes oversight of DLA/DLA Distribution annual financial statement audit, continued Audit Remediation and Sustainment efforts. Maintains local evidential matter and supporting documentation associated with Enterprise and Distribution business processes as well as OSD assertion requirements. Serves as first level reviewer on evaluations of employees. Implements provisions of other personnel management programs such as overtime policies and practices, labor management relations, safety and health practices and internal control program. Coordinates with business process analysts and functional subject matter experts to ensure appropriate supporting documentation is provided timely. Works with counterparts to incorporate policy, mitigate risk, test internal controls, and conduct process management reviews. Hears and resolves individual/group grievances and disciplinary problems involving employees.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Coordinating with business process analysts and functional subject matter experts to ensure appropriate supporting documentation is provided timely. Tracking corrective action plans associated with any deficiencies and material weaknesses observed or found during annual financial statement audit; and Integrating and collaborating with other functional areas to deliver cross functional solutions to end-to-end problems. B. Education Substitution: Education may not be substituted for specialized experience for this position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
