About the Position: This position is located at Camp Atterbury, in Edinburgh, Indiana.Camp Atterbury is the training base for the Indiana National Guard. It was also built big enough to support multiple buildings and an entire army infantry division. Today, the base is incredibly connected to its community and used for military and government operations as well as civilian deployment training and pre-operational testing.
Duties
Assist members from the time of receipt of notification pending Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) through various stages of processing until completion of the Clinical Evaluation Process and forwarding to the Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer.
Perform a variety of technical and organizational support duties, mainly in the area of work measurement, forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling.
Answer non-technical questions concerning appointment providing standardized preparatory instructions for routine procedure for referring to appropriate staff, as required.
Perform a variety of standard and non-standard clerical duties to coordinate travel arrangements, services, and medical appointments for patients and their Family members from distant areas of the geographical region.
Operate a personal computer to input, store, retrieve, and manipulate data.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 1 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: coordinating with patients and medical staff regarding scheduling of appointments and retrieval of medical documentation; using automated software such as Microsoft Office; gathering and maintaining files and data electronically; translating medical terminology; and providing customer service using oral and written communication skills.
