Duties
Provides management and supervisory duties for the assigned area of responsibility, Leisure Travel Services. Provides travel information and assistance.
Responsible for the procurement and accountability of tickets, and requests and maintains a library of travel and entertainment information, including brochures, maps, travel guides, and seasonal information.
Reviews trends in the field of recreation and leisure travels. Makes presentations on activities and services. Maintains a variety of information required for various administrative and financial reports.
Payment of vendor, balances receipts, bank statements, and daily activity reports; makes daily deposits. Prepares budget, and composes routine correspondence from brief notes, oral instructions, or on the basis of precedents.
Performs a full range of supervisory duties, including recommending recruitment or reassignment actions, conducts performance appraisals and submits for approval by the manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- A one year probationary period may be required.

- Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
- Must be willing to accept a regular part time position.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
- Progressively responsible experience, including supervisory or managerial experience.
(One (1) year of Progressively responsible experience in ticket and attraction sales, guest services (e.g., providing information on rental cars, taxis, ground transportation, dinner reservations, or other information about hotel and surrounding area), assistance and procurement of ticket sales for attractions, balancing daily receipts, and preparing deposits)
- Must have exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution and be able to supervise the work of others.
-A two (2) year degree (AA) with a major emphasis in hospitality management or closely related field may be substitute for some of the required experience.
Experience in attraction sales and guest services is desirable.

1. Experience utilizing Military Ticket Program (MTP), Redeam Ticket Portal or equivalent automated ticket systems.
2. Experience utilizing RecTrac or equivalent "Point of Sales" systems.
