Duties

Review, analyze, and evaluate EEO program initiatives and activities to identify barriers Plan, prepare, develop, implement, and monitor the Management Directive 715 Report. Manage and administer the EEO informal and formal complaint process in accordance with current guidelines Work closely with Equal Employment Opportunity Complaints (EEOC) Administrative Judges, IRD investigators and Labor Counselors.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience researching and utilizing the laws, regulations, policies and practices of a Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Program such as; Office of Personnel Management, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board, Civil Rights, EEO laws Code of Federal Regulations, Court decisions, Army Regulations and management directives to adjudicate, adjust and appeal EEO complaints. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
