As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating governance, risk, and compliance requirements and issues across all functional lines within the Office of Management (OM).
This position is located in Office of Management (OM), Office of Chief Financial Officer, Governance, Risk and Compliance to be filled in one of the following locations: Washington, DC, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, or Santa Ana, CA.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Develop and execute GRC policies, procedures, processes, plans, analysis, systems, special projects, reporting, and administrative tasks to enhance the implementation, organization, integration, effectiveness, efficiency, and value of OM's governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) program, aligning with organizational objectives.
Plan, implement, and manage GRC functions in complex organizational and operational environment. Integrates data, processes, GRC functions, and OM operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to assess, analyze and/or evaluate GRC programs, processes, and outcomes.
Identify, analyze, and optimize OM business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Implement best practices, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and manage change to improve governance, risk, and compliance activities across the organization.
Monitor organizational compliance with laws and regulations, oversee OM's portfolio of management delegations and designations, advise OM leadership on regulatory and policy matters, and improve executive awareness and decision making.
Play a key role in developing, implementing, and overseeing risk management activities across OM, including enterprise risk management, fraud risk management, and targeted risk assessments of processes and programs. Identifies

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:
To qualify for the NB-V, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level or difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-IV band or GS-11 grade level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
Supporting governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities by organizing, collecting, and analyzing data while ensuring data accuracy and completeness. AND
Preparing reports for a variety of stakeholders that present key insights, findings, performance metrics, or risks to support strategic/operational decisions and GRC activities.
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
