Duties
Provide supervisory leadership and creative guidance to Production Acquisition Division (PAD) personnel in development of audiovisual productions.
Develop procedural, management and operational concepts for Production Acquisition Division (PAD).
Evaluate completed audiovisual productions in terms of mission accomplishment, quality and quantity standards utilizing emerging video production technologies and best practices.
Research and implement new or improved practices concerning visual information production acquisition.
Review production and video reports for quality and for compliance with customer requirements.
Develop strategic planning goals based on customer mission requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- You may be expected to travel up to 20% for this position.

Basic Requirement:Degree:Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position.
OR
Experience: Experience in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position. This includes work directly connected with the production aspects of the field(s) of the position to be filled.
*In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Advise senior leadership on Visual Information (VI) Programs and Policies; maintain a positive relationship with contracting support staff; and design employee training for career development.
This specialized experience is equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the federal service.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
