As a Supervisory Realty Specialist, you are responsible for the supervision of lease acquisition, site acquisition, building purchase, space planning, scheduling, negotiations, build-out and procurement management of real estate projects for several major Government agencies. The Heartland Leasing division provides world-class workspaces in support of our customer agencies’ missions. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

Plan, direct, and coordinate complete range of activities within the zone as those activities relate to but are not limited to, the execution of a wide range of real estate acquisition functions and analysis of complex financial calculations associated with leasing program activities Manage, oversee, and direct work designed to resolve complex problems that arise during the administration of a lease contract which in turn affect the efficiency and integrity of key real estate administration programs as well as financial integrity of lease transactions Oversees, directs, and monitors the accomplishment of a broad range of financial documentation activities, the accomplishment of which are inherent to satisfying the customer and lessor while also achieving key organization strategic business goals and objectives Directs the development of budgetary and work performance standards of the organization including appropriate statistical analysis and summary justification Meets with subordinates to resolve problem areas and provides program and policy guidance

Qualifications

For each job on your resume, provide: the exact dates you held  each job (from month/year to month/year) number of hours per week you worked (if part time).     If you have volunteered your service through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps), we encourage you to apply and include this experience on your resume.For a brief video on creating a Federal resume, click here. The GS-14 salary range starts at $124,113 per year.  To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience must demonstrate an expert knowledge and application of Federal, commercial and/or corporate realty laws, regulations, and practices in one or more of the following: Performing project management or lead responsibility for the lease acquisition of mid and high rise commercial office and special purpose space including lease construction Performing project management or lead responsibility for the utilization and management of existing Federal/commercial owned inventory of mid and high rise commercial office and special purpose space Developing and implementing program policy, guidance, or best business practices Managing, supervising, or leading a federal, commercial, and/or corporate realty function Developing short and long range strategies and plans for optimizing real property portfolio and asset performance Preparing and managing plans and strategies for site acquisition; or Developing, managing, administering and/or negotiating realty contracts Quality Ranking Factors (QRFs): QRFs are knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) that could be expected to significantly enhance performance in a position, but are not essential for satisfactory performance. Applicants who possess such KSA's may be ranked above those who do not, but no one may be rated ineligible solely for failure to possess such KSA's. The Quality Ranking Factor for this position is the ability to acquire and maintain a warrant, which includes formal training, experience (on the job training) and a minimum of 24 semester hours (or equivalent) of business college coursework or a bachelor’s degree. You may submit your transcripts which show you meet the education requirement for the Quality Ranking Factor.  If selected, an official transcript will be required prior to appointment.
