Qualifications
What are we looking for?Master's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Clinical Counseling, Social Work or another clinical behavioral health field, or a related field appropriate to the work of the position AND three years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis and evaluation, preferably in the field of behavioral health OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Must have comprehensive skills and ability to design and interpret surveys, fact find, conduct statistical analysis and present results. Skill in designing and developing databases, querying, exporting and compiling data from a variety of sources using database and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Access and Excel, or other related products. Skill in analyzing datasets utilizing statistical software packages such as SPSS Statistics, SAS, or other related software. Skill to analyze and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of business practices to meet goals and objectives. Ability to analyze and evaluate procedures and systems and formulate recommendations for improvement based on findings. Skill to perform surveys to determine compliance with stablished policies and procedures, and formulate recommendations for improvement based on findings. Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with, and gain confidence and cooperation of supervisors and managers to accept proposals on complex issues; organize and communicate effectively orally and in writing at briefings with local and Marine Corps leadership. Knowledge of behavioral health content area to understand the factors that affect behavioral/mental health to understand the tools used currently in data collection and ability to analyze and eliminate existing gaps preventing analysis and measures of success. Must have excellent communication, instructional and relationship-building skills with a strong understanding of, and ability to collaborate with, military commands.
