Duties
Conducts workforce efficiency and effectiveness studies of assigned areas of responsibility within the J6 organization.
Responsible for establishing and using a systematic process for assessing and identifying the human capital needs required to meet J6, DLA goals and develop the plans and strategies to meet these requirements.
Serves as a Management Analyst (Workforce Analysis) developing analysis action plans by identifying and defining scope of problem,
con'td: choosing appropriate metrics and analytic techniques, directing data gathering, preparation, and modeling, and validating modeling assumptions.
Conducts analysis of J6's human capital programs, policies, and processes.
Coordinates with various analytic and functional offices throughout J6, Human Resources (J1), and like organizations within DLA to accurately assess and model HR programs.

Qualifications
To qualify for Management Analyst (Workforce Analysis), your qualifications must include:
A. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) or competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Conducts data collection, organization and analyses and determines sample sizes and sources of data appropriate for studies.
Applies analytical techniques in innovative ways. Obtains and evaluates data for use in future simulations.
Performs broad range of analyses for difficult-to-define, controversial, new, or novel systems and functions where precedents are often lacking.
Applies the principles, theories, and methodologies of data analysis sufficient to achieve an effective and efficient strategic human capital plan.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
