Duties

You will be responsible for providing expert advisory and consultative support in programmatic and business activities to the Executive Director, COS, senior leadership and program managers in the executive of NAVWAR programs and missions. You will interact with other commands (echelon I, II, III and below), competencies, contractors, public and private organizations, and other customers and stakeholders to discuss and resolve the most challenging programs and provide expert advice. You will manage staff coordination to identify and resolve problems, to develop and monitor progress and milestone completion of long-term projects. You will assist with the coordination of major projects and has management and oversight responsibility for programs, policies, plans and analysis that directly shape and improve NAVWAR operations and processes. You will establish administrative and support goals and objectives, develops long range plans and identify required resources to facilitate and efficient, economical and responsive organization.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Generally, current federal employees applying for APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade.? Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with developing organizational functions, programs, policies, regulations, procedures, and operations to evaluate program plans and determine impact of changes on program goals; knowledge of analytic methods to cross functional programs and their interrelationship with assigned program to conduct reviews, studies/projects and coordinate systems and resource utilization of program operations.
