Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Health Communication Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience with The Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Develop, implement, and manage national communication and marketing programs, projects and initiatives for various audiences.
Guide the development, testing, and dissemination of science- and audience-based products, tools, and messages.
Conduct and manage audience research and program evaluation activities for health communication and marketing.
Serve as a liaison with internal and external partners on cross-cutting issues and provide advice, technical assistance and leadership in planning and developing communication and marketing priorities, campaigns, strategies, and practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
For GS-12: Experience: You must have one-year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following:
Utilizing written communication principles and methods to participate in the development of informational and educational public health data.
Assisting with performing research to respond to inquiries and prepare public health materials for varied audiences.
Assessing the quality of program communications online to refine, update, or create new content.
For GS-13: Experience: You must have one-year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following:
Utilizing written communication principles and methods to develop informational and educational public health data.
Performing research to respond to inquiries and prepare public health materials for varied audiences.
Assessing the quality of program communications online to refine, update, or create new content
