Duties

You will maintain and obtain supplies for the organization, prepare and submit required documents to obtain needed items, and maintain contacts with local and regional staff and suppliers to obtain needed items. You will prepare correspondence, forms, reports, requisitions, or statistical data to include attaching required supplemental material. You will review requisitions, supporting documents, and reference material to determine the priority supply action required. You will determine the status of supply actions, changes in requirements and unexpected requirements, and the need to expedite delivery for urgently required items. You will maintain accurate accounting databases and reporting systems.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using office automation software (e.g., word processing, database, spreadsheet programs) to draft documents in accordance with outlined regulations and procedures; 2) Using office equipment (e.g., personal computer, fax machine, or scanner) to perform a variety of administrative tasks; 3) Interpreting policy to ensure uniform application of regulations and processes; and 4) Ordering office supplies.
