You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE TRAINING GROUP of COMNAVINFOWARTRAGRU VIRGINIA BEACH VA.
Duties
You will identify emerging issues in the command military billet structure and billet fill.
You will utilize the Navy Training Management and Planning System (NTMPS) to manage command military billets.
You will develop packages for entry into the Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS) to initiate changes based on command military manpower requirements.
You will address manning shortages by discussing current and anticipated manning problems and solutions.
You will evaluate all administrative support required for the command.
You will write and review staff actions to ensure they are timely and correctly completed to meet mission requirement.
You will design and manage functional Microsoft databases to automate administrative, personnel, and suspense functions.
You will perform a variety of special projects associated with the command manpower department.
You will prepare special reports, chart, and briefings.
You will develop and deliver briefings, project papers, status/staff reports and correspondence to managers.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying a wide range of military manpower concepts, practices, laws, regulations, policies sufficient to provide comprehensive manpower management advisory and technical services.
Applying analytical and diagnostic techniques sufficient to recommend to management appropriate solutions to resolve complex interrelated military manpower problems and issues.
Using computer applications and systems relevant to military manpower management.
Preparing and presenting manpower briefings to senior officials.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
