You will serve as a TRAINING TECHNICIAN in the Training Support Department of NAVAL SUBMARINE SCHOOL NLON.
THIS IS A TERM POSITION - Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions.
The actual location of the position is SUBMARINE BASE GROTON, CONNECTICUT
Duties
You will correct discrepancies in student files for accurate record maintenance.
You will assess and offer appropriate advice based on each candidate's unique situation.
You will develop schedules for pipelines.
You will ensure students meet course prerequisites.
You will create reports pertaining to student information.
You will analyze daily student flow.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Utilizing the student management policies and processes to identify problems, conduct studies and recommend solutions;
Utilizing Training Resource systems in reviewing and inputting data;
Applying qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of training performance indicators such as attrition, setback, time to train, and course utilization; and
Facilitating management of the student pipeline.
