Duties

You will perform work that includes maintaining, installing and repairing a wide variety of food handling and refrigeration equipment from less than 1/8 hp and up to 100 ton air-conditioning units. You will maintain, inspect, repair and operate all galley equipment. You will perform all recurring type scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs and provide the maintenance foreman with equipment status. You will observe or operate equipment to detect malfunctions and determine the cause of trouble.

• You will be required to possess and maintain a current Universal type EPA refrigerant certification.

Qualifications

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision performing the following duties: 1) Installing, maintaining, repairing, or modifying machinery and equipment associated with utility systems on a galley; 2) Using test equipment, trade tools, and schematics or diagrams to repair a variety of industrial equipment; 3) Ordering and maintaining equipment to ensure galley machinery and equipment are in efficient operating and usable order; AND 4) Determining the proper tools and materials needed to complete equipment maintenance. ***NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume.
