This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, ENFORCEMENT. The incumbent serves as the Program Director for Operations and serves as an expert technical advisor and administrator managing and directing all operational and support functions of Enforcement in support of the mission.

Duties

As a Program Director for Operations, you will: Oversee and implement Enforcement Front Office's operational and support functions, including: human resource management; budget and financial management; acquisition management, including procurement and contract administration; training support management; administrative, technology, and services management; and facilities management. Make authoritative recommendations and exercise professional judgment, technical expertise, initiative, and leadership for planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing operational and support functions for Enforcement, including Enforcement's conducting of investigations and litigation. Coordinate with senior management to determine priorities, objectives, and policies for short-term and long-term effectiveness of the Enforcement Front Office's operational and support functions.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the CN-72, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-60 grade level in the Federal service. (For qualification purposes, the CN-60 is broadly equivalent to the GS-14). Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience overseeing the administrative programs of a legal office, organization, or division conducting or supporting examinations, investigations, and/or litigation; AND Experience with implementing operational policies and procedures related to each of the following areas in support of a legal office, organization, or division conducting examinations, investigations, and/or litigation: human capital, budget and financial planning, and acquisition management/procurement; AND Experience assessing operational programs and day-to-day operations, including conducting qualitative and quantitative research, to inform and prepare recommendations to improve or develop new policies and procedures for a legal office, organization, or division conducting or supporting examinations, investigations, and/or litigation; AND Experience managing multiple operational projects with competing deadlines in support of a legal office, organization, or division conducting examinations, investigations, and/or litigation.
