Duties

Assists Executive Chef in day-to-day planning and management of all phases of food preparation in a hotel, club or restaurant where formal dining and catering are a regular and substantial basis of the total food operation.

• A physical examination may be required
• Must be willing to adhere to strict appearance policy
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute(ANSI) accredited agency is required.

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level. Education, experience or a combination of both which includes planning and managing all phases of a hotel, club or restaurant food program.
