About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Health Care Acquisition Activity (HCAA), Office of the Commander, located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is an Acquisition Workforce Demonstration Project position.

Duties

Represent the Command during discussions in procurement/contract administration. Analyze and evaluate cost and pricing data elements to determine price reasonableness for major acquisitions within an organization. Perform analysis on administration documentation and procurement procedures at the command level. Develop and disseminates guidance to an organization where guidelines are often not directly applicable

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This is an Army Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position. The employee must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
• This position requires submission of a financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
• A Foundational Career Level Certification or Contracting Professional Certification must be met within 3 years.
• This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
