About the Position: Under the general administrative direction of the Chief, Control Systems Governance Office, serves as a key member of the Directorate of Information and Technology, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff (ODCS), G-9.
Duties
Performs as the Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a wide variety of critical Control System Governance Office (CSGO) programs and projects.
Manages the project planning and project execution for the design, development, test, evaluation, and deployment of approved CSGO projects.
Serves as technical authority for the change management efforts.
Supports and leads study groups or steering committees to identify and implement recommendations to improve overall Agency functions, operations, and overall performance.
Responsible for developing, coordination and maintenance of a comprehensive information technology/management strategy for the organization to facilitate installation management strategic business objectives.
Captures, documents, and translates business needs into integrated information technology plans and strategies for implementation and execution.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 10% of this position’s time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes executes, monitors, controls and/or closes cybersecurity programs/projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
