This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes. As an Administrative Management Specialist, you will plan, develop, implement, manage and evaluate the functions and day-to-day activities of the Office's administrative services programs. Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. -Serve as the office point of contact for the receipt, assignment, and tracking of correspondence received into the office. -Ensure administrative services are closely coordinated with the Office's program operations and are directed to provide maximum support and enhancement of the Office's mission. -Participate in systematic reviews of and implement the development, operations, and ongoing improvement of the Office's administrative services. -Plan, develop, implement, manage and evaluate the functions and day-to-day activities of the Office's administrative services programs. Programs to include but are not limited to budget tracking, human resources, payroll, information technology and automation.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following: - Providing advice and guidance to lower level office support personnel in completion of assigned tasks, ensuring timely outcome of actions, and application of customer service concepts to established policies, goals and work priorities; AND - Triaging of paperwork and workflow and in-depth understanding of the operations of multiple parts of the organization or serving as a personal liaison for a higher ranking office official; AND - Experience in making travel arrangements and scheduling domestic and international travel (knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulations is preferred); AND - Collecting, analyzing and integrating complex information for office executives; AND - Identifying tasks, schedules and resources (e.g., staff, funding, equipment, facilities) in support of planning, development, evaluation and decision-making affecting administrative and operational aspects of mission-oriented programs. Specialized Experience for the GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes AT LEAST THREE (3) of the following: - Providing advice and guidance to lower level office support personnel in completion of assigned tasks, ensuring timely outcome of actions, and application of customer service concepts to established policies, goals and work priorities; AND - Triaging of paperwork and workflow and understanding of the operations of multiple parts of the organization or serving as a personal liaison for a higher ranking office official; AND - Experience in making travel arrangements and scheduling domestic and international travel (knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulations is preferred); AND - Assisting with collecting, analyzing and integrating complex information for office executives; AND - Identifying tasks, schedules and resources (e.g., staff, funding, equipment, facilities) in support of planning, development, evaluation and decision-making affecting administrative and operational aspects of mission-oriented programs. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
